Impressions from the trip to Benin and the future of ""Slavyanka"" based electric boats | News from Andrey Lobov
Russian technology will be used to develop sustainable fishery in Africa.
Andrey Lobov, CEO of the Resurs production cooperative, shared information about it. He visited Benin to meet with the SOLARGROUP Project Ambassador Gilles Weber, the company's investors and partners, the President of the Fishermen Association and the entrepreneurs themselves. The fishermen are interested in using cost-effective and environmentally friendly boats in their business.
The plans include installing an electric motor with the "Slavyanka" combined winding made by the Resurs production cooperative on the boat in the spring and testing it, then setting up a solar charger for 10 boats in the harbor and launching a small fleet of such water vehicles.
This is not the first project by Andrey Lobov involving eco-boats. In the future, Resurs intends to replace gasoline-powered tourist boats with electric ones in North Macedonia, and do the same for fishing boats in Benin.
