The first test launch of the NOVA-01 airship

The long-awaited first test launch of the NOVA-01 airship took place. This is an important stage in the implementation of the entire project!
The main objectives of the tests:
• check the operation of the mooring mast,
• assess the performance of the airship when feathering around it.
The key airship systems were also tested.
• The operation of the tail thruster engines, which provide maneuverability of the airship, was checked.
• The efficiency of the air blowers and pressure relief valves on the ballonet, which are responsible for maintaining optimal pressure inside the airship, was assessed.
The results of NOVA-01's first test launch were favourable: the assigned tasks were successfully accomplished and the operability of the main systems and components was confirmed. After the tests were completed, the aircraft was returned to the hangar and is now being prepared for the next testing stages.
The AERONOVA team plans to gradually expand the testing routine. So stay tuned for more news very soon!
